BASKET MAKING 10am - 4pm
This is a most popular craft and every year the classes are booked swiftly, so get your name in fast! (max. 8 people per class). The course takes about 6 hours, with some time for lunch. It takes place under the festival cover on the North Square, so rain
or shine does not matter, the day will pleasantly fly by while you are concentrating on making a most beautiful home made and useful piece of art. People are then very happy to take their finished, personal product home, after a ‘small day’s work’, to be used for years to come. Booking in advance is necessary as our most experienced teacher has to bring the willow rods and other materials all the way from county Cork to Sneem. If this is something you always wanted to do, do it now, you won’t regret it!

What better way to begin the Sneem Family Festival than with a nice big meal! The whole family will not only enjoy the luscious array of food but also socialise with others enjoying the festival atmosphere. Held on the North Square, a bouncy castle will keep the kids happy whilst their parents can chat and watch the live act on the stage. A family discount will apply but individual prices are €10 for adults and €5 for children..
