JUVENILE FISHING COMPETITION 10.30am - 12.30pm
Juvenile Fishing
In the capable hands of the Sneem River Association, this is one of the most popular competitions for young fishermen and fisherwomen. Tahilla Long Lake is a well-established fishing destination in this area and everybody’s line will be kept busy. So grab some bait and your wellies and join the challenge to see who will be the champion of 2008

Crab Fishing 1pm
Young people can give crab fishing a go off Oysterbed Pier, an exciting activity that will keep them entertained for hours with a fascinating look at life under the sea.

CIRCUS SKILLS WORKSHOP 2.30pm - 4.30pm
Ever wanted to run away and join the circus? If so, this is the workshop for you!! Even if you just have an interest in skills such as stilt-walking, juggling and plate-turning this is ideal and a lot of fun for all the family. So come find your inner clown, helped by one of the best performers in the area, Shane Constable. Individual help will be given as much as possible but depends on how many budding young clowns turn up. Later in the evening Shane can be seen stilt-walking around Sneem, something that can be enjoyed by everyone, even those with vertigo! The price of €3pp

PUPPET SHOW 6pm -7.30pm
Performed by John Wilson, who last year brought us the popular tale of “Androcles and the Lion”, this years puppet show is entitled “Moving House” and will surely be a big hit with all the family. The main character is Jack, a young boy with nothing to do on a wet afternoon. Stuck inside, his imagination escapes the confines of his house as he embarks on an adventure shared with the entire audience. Can they help him with his homework? Can he learn to be a doctor in time to save the queen? Come find the answers to these questions and more in the Community Centre. The price is €5pp.

S7-A-Side Soccer Tournament 5pm - 9pm
7-A-Side soccer matches between local business at Sneem Santos Grounds. See the best and the worst of local talent strut their stuff.

HORSE RIDING 4.30pm - 7.30pm
This never fails to put a smile on the face of the little kids and their parents alike... It will be Midge you can ride on today. She is very calm and loves to carry children on her back.

CEILI & SET DANCE COMPETITION
DENIS CRONIN PERPETUAL SHIELD 8.30pm
whilst dancing a Set or a Jig or a Siege of Ennis. A number of local sets will also compete for the Denis Cronin Perpetual Shield, also incorporating a competition for the junior sets. However, all are welcome with a special invitation to visitors to Sneem. Tea and cakes will be served and there will be a chance to enter a raffle for a range of fantastic prizes.
Held in Sneem Hotel there is a price of €8 for adults, children go free.

Pub TABLE QUIZ 10pm
A great buzz for anybody. Put your brains together and see who is the smartest table-clan around. It is in aid of Cork Cancer Research and will take place in Sneem House.
